Il Brutto is a neighborhood Italian restaurant located in East Austin. It offers traditional Italian fare inside a 5,000-square-foot restaurant that features a large, open kitchen, separate bar and lounge, private dining room, and shaded patio seating surrounding a heritage oak tree. The cuisine has an emphasis on classic, non-regional Italian dishes. The menu features fresh antipasti, daily homemade pastas, and pizzas baked in the restaurant’s Neapolitan wood-burning oven. The beverage program highlights an extensive selection of Italian wines from an on-site cellar, hand-picked amaro, as well as local beers and simple, handcrafted cocktails.
